Parking here kinda sucks and that's why I took one star off. You have to use a valet or pay to park, but then I think if you use their valet it gets refunded? I'm not sure. Anyway the restaurant itself is quaint - definitely a seafood house, dark inside with big open windows overlooking the beach. The food is delicious, the service friendly and fast. Overall I'd recommend this place!!
I had a great time at Ocean Deck over the weekend. On Saturday evening, Vance warmly greeted us and enjoyed some wings and shrimp. We were also treated to a surprise fireworks display on the beach, which was amazing! The wings were delicious. On Sunday, there was a 70s-80s-themed event, and the band, The Click, sounded fantastic. I also had a wonderful conversation with Cassie, who made great recommendations all night. This is a cool dive bar located right on the beach. It offers good food, great views, and live music! I'll be back for sure.
I went here for the first time for a small graduation celebration within the family and I think it's a cute little place. I really do enjoy the live music, we just got there late into the night and had a seat right by them so it was super loud. Still great music though! We eventually snagged a table out back on the patio area and it was wayyyyyy better out there to be able to see the beach at the same time. They also are so smart to make people change from the glasses to non breakable cups. Now we didn't really focus on the food much but the French fries I stole from my brother in law were great. I do want to come back to try to food maybe one afternoon but definitely not during party hours lol. The waitress was quick and great at her job!
Absolute the best beach bar on the east coast of Florida Jacksonville to Deerfield Beach. Friendly & welcoming to all... As long as you aren't a #Ragamuffin or a #crybaby!! Been coming here since 1983 when I learned my mom waitressed here circa 1953 Ride up in our beach bikes sand side or car top side, never miss when we stay in Daytona or Ormand Beach. Always bring people when we can. Great #happyhour Never had a bad meal. Fair food & drink pricing for the fabulous location. We prefer downstairs where sandy feet are a norm. But peeked into the upstairs; great place to take Grandma that wants to look at the beach through windows in the air conditioning. Recommend the fish dip, tuna nacho thing & quesadilla for apps. When I'm at the beach, I'm getting my seafood fix, and this sampler was excellent! Flaky mahi mahi, big, tender peel-and-eat shrimp, and more snow crab (I'll keep working for my food). Mahi was tender and tasty while snow crab was sweet and plentiful. Gator bites made for a great appetizer and plenty to share. The wine pours are heavy and good! Service was quick and friendly. And I love a joint that's on the beach with an interior that screams ocean bar. 3/3 on my dinner picks this week, and Ocean Deck deserves a spot on your tour de Dayton restaurants.
